Best inbox placement tools: the short answer
The best inbox placement tools for a small B2B sender are GlockApps or Folderly Inbox Insights for free tests, MailGenius for unlimited tests, and Warmy or MailReach when tests should come with warm-up. An inbox placement test sends one message to mailboxes at several providers and reports whether it landed in the inbox, in spam or in promotions.
Each price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read in US dollars on October 23, 2026. Warmy's pricing page shows "Plans starting from $49 / month", and its comparison pages list five plans from $49 to $429 a month, billed monthly.
| Tool | Tests included | Price a month and billing |
|---|---|---|
| GlockApps | Free: 2 spam test credits a month; Essential: 30 a month | Free $0; Essential $85 billed monthly, $59 billed annually |
| MailGenius | Beginner: 60 tests a month. Genius: unlimited | Beginner $23, Genius $39, on yearly billing |
| Folderly Inbox Insights | Free: 2 tests a month. Paid: 100 tests a month | Free $0; paid $79 billed monthly |

Try Warmy →Free tiers: GlockApps and Folderly Inbox Insights
GlockApps lists a free plan with 2 spam test credits a month, and Folderly Inbox Insights lists a free tier of 2 tests a month. Both free tiers cover testing only. Two tests a month cover a check before a launch and a re-check after a fix; a busy team reaches the cap fast.
Paid testers: MailGenius and Warmforge
MailGenius's pricing page opens on yearly billing: Beginner is $23 a month for 60 tests a month, and Genius is $39 a month for unlimited tests. Warmforge sells placement tests apart from warm-up: Pro is $39 a month billed monthly, or $32.5 a month billed annually, for 100 tests a month and 50 mailboxes per test. Folderly Inbox Insights costs $79 a month on monthly billing.
Tests inside warm-up plans: Warmy and MailReach
Warmy's help center lists Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Zoho as the B2C providers its tester sends to, and Google Workspace, MS 365 and SMTP as its B2B providers. A seed list is a set of real test mailboxes that you send a copy of a campaign to, so a report shows where it landed.
Warmy's seed list page lists Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 seeds while its own FAQ describes Gmail addresses with Outlook "in the near future", and its campaign checker does not support Yahoo or custom SMTP.
Warmy's seed list guide says not to mix seed addresses with real campaigns, its sending-process article says to send the campaign to the seed list alongside regular recipients, and its campaign placement checker says to mix its tracking addresses naturally into your real prospects, so follow the guide for the feature you buy.
Warmy's pricing page asks you to confirm your monthly test allowance, so ask for the number in writing. MailReach's all-in-one plan includes 20 spam test credits with the warmer; one credit buys one placement test and its report.
Warm-up and placement testing are different jobs
A test shows where one message landed; warm-up builds sending history over weeks. Warmy's help center calls 85% or more inbox placement on the providers that matter to your list a good benchmark, which is Warmy's own guidance and not a result a reader can expect. A test also leaves a failing SPF, DKIM or DMARC record in place, so start with how to check domain reputation for email.
- GlockApps or Folderly Inbox Insights for free tests, 2 a month each.
- MailGenius for unlimited tests at $39 a month on yearly billing.
- Warmy when warm-up, tests and DMARC monitoring should sit in one plan. Its pages describe a 7-day free trial on one mailbox with a deliverability test, and its Terms convert the trial to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. The Warmy review covers the plans.
- MailReach for tests bundled with warm-up billed per mailbox; best email warmup tools compares the warm-up side.
